4th Quarter Union Package

I don’t know what titles would be eligible for the EIPP. Hopefully for field techs and COTS. The union has confirmed this.

oddly enough a couple weeks ago my supervisor ask me if I was offered would i accept a package. So I do think they were taking a poll. Honestly with 30 years I don't know. If they would take more of a financial responsibility for the retiree benefits , I would take the package.

@c8 There are multiple entries within Verizon. So yes they can offer a package. East, west, vzw, and management. Believe it or not there is more than just your contact with the union workers. Mine expires after yours.

They can’t offer a package while hiring.

They can’t do a layoff while still hiring. They can certainly offer a voluntary package

They just did a field tech package I think last year in nyc. Be surprised to see another one so soon, even though there would be many takers.

They always offer a package the last 4th quarter before the contract is up.

Verizon is doing chess moves while the union is playing checkers by issuing an Eipp it will decimate the union numbers and let’s not talk about the new guys. They are not walking in the circle for the old timers. Good luck with that.
