Thread regarding Citigroup Inc. / Citibank / Citi layoffs

H1B post keep disappearing, why?

It seems like H1B visa posts keep getting purged from this site. What is it that makes the moderator nervous about it?

Correct. Many going through vendors and agencies. They won’t be able to get their cheap labor (who they have crazy control over because of h1b).

There are quite many on H1B indirectly via vendors as well as employees who are on H1B or H4 EAD or some in process of perm. residency including NIW

Citi only has 520 H1B employees. So who cares. The data is available freely on the web and doesn't need to be a topic on here.

it is really the most unfortunate. it seems this board is full of recruiters who are bashing Citi and trying to poach our top talent. So I say viva la Citi!!!

I think we’ve already covered this, it’s not connected to H1B (or any other) topic directly. The site bans offensive language (racism, insults, etc.). They nuke posts containing those on a regular basis. Since H1B topic tends to stir things up, people sometimes don’t watch their wording when talking about it, so some of those posts end up getting deleted.

People make it political, so they get nixed
