Talk about thank you for nothing. I don't know what to say about the rewards

@cc
I hear you. I'm in exactly the same position with a bit of extra - after years of this cr-p my mental health is affected and now I don't have any will or energy to learn and look for another job. Before Cisco, I was respected engineer, I did some stuff I'm really proud of, I had passion and energy.
Now I have nothing except the job, but I'm first on the line next time they decide to cut jobs in my team.
@df are you grade 6 or 8 ?
@e8 HR NPCs and people who think they track participation. Also pretty sure Cisco pays for the ranking.
Who is voting for Best place to work at ? Its the exact opposite
I actually got a raise...but a pittance, 2%.
No raise, no promo, no RSUs and a small year-end bonus. My boss made it seem like the latter was a favor.
A decent bonus and small bit of RSUs. No merit though which is annoying. Especially with everything my team shipped last year. It’s incredible how little that actually matters in the calculus. Not exactly motivation and I’m going to start to look for an exit.
I am the @OP and yes while I am glad to have a job i have also realized after not leaving for years when I saw this coming i am not as sharp and my skills are not growing. I keep working on the same projects with no upskilling. Taking online courses is not the same as on job practical work. I am doomed and I am not sure how everyone else here feels after 6+ years here
Im glad to have a job. I do not have the guts to be in this job market
Say I am glad to have this job, boss!!
You should apologize for your sense of entitlement
They know the mouth breathers will just say "yes boss!" and show up the next day anyway, so whaddya expect?
If you won't leave, live with the abuse. Typical bad marriage where the abuse goes on for years.
