What's the package offered if one fails documented coaching before being put on PIP officially? Is it possible to negotiate/extend the last day of employment on paper?
If we resign during coaching period, is it considered as termination?

@105 did you have a bad rating in workday before moving teams? Was new manager ok with it? Did they not contact your previous manager for feedback?
I'm sure I am the exception here. I went though documented coaching, passed it. It was then decided I retrospectively failed it. Went on a pip. Moved role while on pip.
I went from management that wanted me out for personal reasons, to management that respected my value.
Since moving (4+ years ago) IPF of 150, 180, 140, 160. Moved from a G10 on pip to a G12 with IPF 160 with route to principle. Within 4 years.
Your manager (and reporting line) makes all the difference.
Surviving Cisco is not about performing well. It's also about avoiding bad leadership.
PIP = you are not good
Poor performance = 0
Pack up
@bx I don't see myself succeeding coaching, at this point it's just endless bad feedback and I'm tired. Can I stop this process midway and ask for package now?
PIP is a polite way to say, we are done with you, it’s only a master of time. Either you’re too old or making too much, we have alternate to replace you, and that’s FINAL. Spend your energy elsewhere and show your finger.
It is a good sign that you are pre-selected during the next LR. There is no need to overwork anything because you will be given many tasks or tasks which will take more time to resolve, and you will be told you need to do more, more and more, and at the end you will be hearing it is not enough and you should do it better and faster. So, search for something new and do what is required. PIP is a trap, you are asked to do more, more, and more, once you are out of PIP, they will ask to increase velocity to the death, once you are exhausted you are done anyway.
Not worth it, unless you want to show you are a good boy, which is never appreciated.
Document coaching is sth to succeed ?
If you succeed documented coaching, they will repeat it 2, 3, 4, .. several times.
Document coaching is not here to help you, it is here to help the company to find a good excuse to get rid off you
Nothing changes. There are only three ways to exit a company:
You resign
Company terminates you without cause (mass LR)
Company terminates you with cause (fired for failing to do job)
Separation agreements can or cannot happen with any of the above
