Put the right people in the right positions

There is so much talent wasted because they have managers who are unqualified or lack basic skills. Fidelity could be a great place to work again, but it would take too much time and money to fix the broken management system.

And we don’t have time or money to spend on development.

Angry you don’t get the promotion? Fidelity is doing just fine in fact record growth and profits. Management appreciates your opinion but you are obviously angry and jealous. Focus inward and make yourself better and the upside is endless.

I've always believed that middle management folk are simply overpaid secretaries that kissed the correct butt to earn that salary bump for a 'talk a big game but do-nothing' job.
