“People have been tailed outside work, and they have been threatened to play along“

Is gonzo tailing people wearing his $1,200 mandalorian costume?

@OP

Everyone on this Site who's posting on a public forum about Citi's violations of law is wasting their time and effort. YOU need to go directly to the Regulators (FRB, OCC, SEC, NASD, even DOJ and FBI, etc..) who can actually hold Citi accountable and make Citi pay for its violations of law.

Do you want to see Citi, the COO, CEO, etc. pay for their violations of law and complicity, or do you just want to B!tch and complain about it on an Internet Site where No one can do anything about it. OR do you want to see Citi get its comeuppance ???!!!

This is like getting as$aulted or robbed, but NOT going to the Police about it !

YOU Also have HR, MDs and Ds defending and covering for the Citi MotherFvckers,
B!tching and complaining to the Site Moderators about posts they don't like (but are PROTECTED by First Amendment Rights to Free Speech AND NLRB Labor Rights, and Also do NOT divulge proprietary or trade secrets), and try to get the Site moderators to delete the posts

@nj

Poster:

1) You need to hire an employee-side Employment lawyer to protect you.

2) There are Whistleblower laws that will protect you and your identity.

3) With your lawyer, report your complaints and evidence to the Government Regulators (FRB, OCC, SEC, NASD, etc.) EEOC, And any other agencies your lawyer deems necessary.

@OP you mean all the illegal and law violations items? If yes then not enough space here to document it. Citi thrives on it…” CFPB Orders Citi to Pay $25.9 Million for Intentional, Illegal Discrimination Against Armenian Americans” as an example.

There is extensive domination of vendors like Tata Consultancy Services . TCS spends several thousand dollars on the Directors, MDs and parties hosted within Citi premises, which is against Citi code of conduct. This allows TCS to dictate terms and be encouraged to deliver sub standard quality of work because they have the MDs in their pocket dancing to the tunes. TCS should be removed from Citi's vendor list.

These are some of the things OCC should be made aware off

Simply, OCC has to read the various ethics investigations Citi has done since 2017 and what action they have taken and how they have taken. Thats good enough to expose the mess Citi is in. The themes are below.

  1. Lying to OCC: As part of OCC guidelines, Citi will have to execute a COB test at regular intervals. If the COB test fails, they have to report the failures and take a Corrective Action Plan (CAP). Every CAP is reported to the CEO until closed. Initially Shadman Zafar and his cronies defined CAP for COB failures. Subsequently as Shadman got familiar with the system, he and his cronies started to rig. Failed COB tests were reported as passed. people who played along were rewarded. Shadman played the good cop and his cronies played bad cop. All were rewarded with massive promotions which were not earned.

  2. Unethical hiring and people practices: Since 2017, every hire and promotion was controlled by Shadman Zafar in consumer banking and tech. As Anand Selva came long, he also started supporting this conduct, because Shadman and Anand had a common boss who brought these guys together. This has been investigated numerous times by HR, but silenced by Anand Selva without any disciplinary action. The only change was several incompetent long term employees were promoted to cover up for nepotism that was found and proven during investigation that Shadman demonstrated. In another case Shadman and Michael Naggar staged a campus interview to hire 1 person who is also from the same country as Shadman. While the new hire was not competent, his manager reported on this and the manager got impacted during reviews. The new hire was subsequently promoted. While Shadman was let go earlier this year, majority of his cronies are still hanging around. It has over 50 people who have been benefited by Shadman with no demonstrated competency or ethical conduct.

  3. Improper HR investigation practices: Citi HR and HR investigations have zero authority and essentially act as order takers from C level. Typically when an investigation proves someone to be guilty, they are put on administrative leave. In one of the investigations which went for over an year, HR was feeding investigation updates to Anand and Shadman and they were sharing it with their cronies and retaliation was rampant. Shadman planted fake allegations and rewarded people who planted those. Ravin Vernekar was one of them who consistently did this who played well with Shadman and was used to plant allegations without any evidence. In one case, Shadman had one of his buddies sit in his house and reply to the investigation report from HR from Shadman's id which found Shadman's cronies as guilty. How does this sound?

  4. Threats and harassment: There is a story that Shadman's former manager was investigated by federal agencies and how they got away with it. This former manager's son works with Citi. Several of them have been threatened to play along using this story that this bunch is well connected to navigate these and if you dont play along we will have impact. Ravin Vernekar and a former Director got promoted precisely for playing along and agreeing to do business with this former manager who visited Citi even though there was no business value for Citi. The former director was an IC who knew nothing about compliance / security etc. Overnight he was made a Director/ manager of managers, as he was playing along well with Shadman's requests.

  5. Cannot do the right thing: If anyone speaks the truth during HR investigations, HR does not enforce protection. To thrive at Citi, the only way is to play along with unethical practices, sell your soul.

  6. Competency has zero value: In the last decade, not a single MD / Director promotion was driven by competency. Every promotion is driven by a factor of convenience. People have been promoted based on how convenient it is to have them in the team as compared to merit.

Filing a lawsuit is an option, but Shadman is well established in Dallas area and has a massive Pakistani group backing him. People have been tailed outside work, and they have been threatened to play along, while Citi is sitting as a lame duck not being able to do anything with this gang. So writing it here, so that Citi is forced by OCC to clean the floor and gets rid of this gang, provide a healthy working environment and OCC blocks this group from working in any financial institution anywhere in US.

How about retaliation and severe rebuke for daring to even half heartedly voicing a concern? I believe banks regulated by the OCC and FRB are strictly forbidden to do so? Surely, yesterday's EMT note emphasizing that retaliation is strictly forbidden is not a coincidence? What do they know that we don't? Fallout of the Andy S drama? By no means is Andy alone in this. Retaliation is far more common than the EMT thinks it is
