No need to be overly worried about layoffs—focus on the positives like your quarterly RSU vesting. Decisions to let people go are typically driven at the director level and above, where leadership often makes tough calls to safeguard their own incentives.
Our revenue is decreasing, so I guess there are no promotions this year.

My only wish is to see more lay off hitting Managers and Directors that are doing nothing , hiding behind support and using it as a shield to survive longer for the sake of rest and vest.
