Newsflash to IC's: Cisco doesn't require its leaders to be able to do the job of the people on their teams. An SBG leader doesn't actually need to be able to SSH into an EC2. Does the Director need to be able to their direct reports' jobs? Does the VP need to be able to the Director's job? Obviously not.
You have a fundamental misunderstanding of what a Leader's role is.
Many managers within SBG are perceived as strong communicators but tend to rely heavily on meetings to appear productive. However, recent conversations suggest that there may be upcoming changes in the BU’s leadership, with a closer evaluation of management performance and potential shifts in key roles.
Can someone relay this to my manager in SBG please? She says she has been in leader meetings while she has no idea how to ssh into a EC2
