Why are some posts quickly deleted or never even posted?

You're all sinners for visiting this website.
I've snitched this from another forum, someone nicely summed up website rules into bullets.
Mods delete posts containg:
- personal insults
- full names (except execs)
- initials (if combined in with other info that clearly identifies an individual/non-exec)
- trolling and spamming
- excessive use of foul language
Mods usually delete just the post in question, but if you're pushy or break the rules badly, you might get banned for a few days. In that case, mods might nix all your previous posts too, not just the one that broke the rule. Anyhow, using a VPN helps override this.
