within DSE we had 4 eliminated roles this week, one person forced out (morale is super low). What’s happening in the other parts of tech?

@17b Are they really that cheap after Infosys adds their massive markup? Even if they were 80% less expensive they are still not worth it, I would rather have a single American on my team than 10 of these little freaks

The company had 5000 employees for decades. Now 8000, and most of that increase is tech. That number is not sustainable.

@123 I mentioned that a while back. Infosys is taking over. All the FTEs are being told they're lucky to have had their jobs for so long.

it should be no surprise mzg is still around. she does a fantastic job projecting value via linked in. my shame is having a part in allowing her to enter via a contract role. who knew she would find a way to play that into an affair, divorce, and then multiple promotions for 2 project assistants

@h4 Those two. It's truly amazing that they are where they are. Let's do nothing and get paid six figures. The pay wasted on those two could pay four to five salaries. Salaries of people that would actually do their jobs.

@nd The best thing you can do is document their unusual behavior and send it to TG, TC, and the Board. Pictures of them doing nothing all day and showing the time theft. Their leaders are aware and choose to do nothing. They will also need to be held accountable. Top leaders can’t do anything if they aren’t aware.

Eliminated roles were all women, plus a handful of women were moved out to a different org and the leader who decided to leave… also a very successful woman.
