Our current economic system is one in which wealth is highly concentrated. The gap has widened between the pay of top company executive pay and that of the typical worker. CEOs have received exponential raises while ordinary workers struggle to keep up with inflation. The primary reason is that executive pay, in general, is often tied to metrics that may not correlate with the company's overall financial health and heavily influenced by the CEO over the compensation committee that approves their pay.
Pay inequality may produce serious consequences, including increased poverty for families, reduced economic security and poor overall economic growth because of low employee morale and turnovers.
They can try to shove AI down our throats, but it's still not engineering the extraordinaire. It's trash. CEOs are using AI as an excuse to outsource our jobs to India.
Don't fall for the lie.
