last years packages for germany were capped at i think 350k and i guess france with even more sticter laws, they have to open the wallet further

@ac France and Germany are the most unionised countries in Europe. Also, in many EU countries unions presence in big companies is legally compulsory.

@ba That was an entry level package for employees Who worked at least 12 months, if I remember (It happened to a young Sales in my team)
Many other people left with much more

Better wait until things are clearer. They did not say that there is a good edit package. There is more to it that might leave sour taste in our mouths.
