Thread regarding Fidelity Investments layoffs

As a woman…

The post pandemic work life at the firm has made me seriously consider leaving the workforce completely. “Support” being a new buzzword with zero meaning is the base of the new culture.

So many people keep talking about how other companies are worse, so I kind of don’t want to take my chances.

It’s not just a bad place for women to work, the company has really gone downhill. I would never recommend Fidelity in its current state.

Imagine if you were a white male at the firm. Then you would really have some stress. You are DEI protected.

Culture was the buzz word recently for me. The culture was toxic. Only you can change your position. Other opportunities out there. Good luck
