I have no intention of waiting for the last moment and then competing with everyone else who’s been laid off for the few jobs that’ll be left. Yes, I won’t get severance if I leave on my own, but frankly, I’d rather have a job than some money and the uncertainty of finding something else.

Started applying as soon as the acquisition went through. Figured a sh-t show like this would happen. A shame as I could’ve seen myself staying at Ansys for a while.
Honestly what exactly does Jill do, I bet AI can literally do Jill's job and be better at it. She is the ambassador of Margarine and needs to be banished back to the underworld, where she belongs.
@OP Yes. Polishing my resume starting last Tuesday afternoon after receiving that email. I have no further expectations to this company from the moment when Jill rolled out the quarterly performance review and AI usage tracking. This company will soon become another toxic squid game like Meta. The difference is we only get peanuts. Why not go for Meta instead if you are capable? This new executive team must lose their mind and don't even know what they are.
