Thread regarding ViacomCBS layoffs

I decided to leave

I opted in. More spur of the moment than some grand plan. I’ve been tired of what this place has been turning into for a long time, and I wasn’t about to stick around for the ringer that’s coming. Sure, I’m worried about what’s out there, but I’ve got a few tentative options - and even that’s something. Maybe I picked the worst time to jump. But right now I just feel relieved.

How many years were you at Paramount @OP? My tenure isn’t enough for me to be able to go financially. I am worried but the job is ok now so I will try my chances. you might be saving a job for soemone who needs it more. good karma.

Godspeed, @OP. You may have picked the better option. The rest of us will still have to struggle though the waves of layoffs, phase 2, multiple re-orgs and more layoffs. And if we survive all that, maybe double the workload of what it was before.
