I’m waiting for the 16 and 16
They offered a 6&6 package to NYNEX employees a year or so prior to the merger with Bell Atlantic. AFAIK, everyone was offered the package. In management it was offered to different departments at different times. I knew people who changed departments to delay receiving it but again AFAIK, they ultimately got the offer.
Six years added to your age is a downside for 55+
