For those that were there, what did Rob Thomas say about RTP?
Did he say anything about how the RTP main site just closed?

To answer the OP question, he did apologize for the disruption. Closing part of the site wouldn’t be his decision though. I thought his speech was honest and his answers to questions were direct.
So rude. Rob is actually a great guy. Super cool and super smart. He's worth every penny IBM pays him.

RT is the perfect rep for a company where all the shiny new things are really fake and pieces of sh-t. The irony is hilarious.

For some reason he reminds me of Mr Bean below (Rowan Atkinson actor and comedian). In the picture he thinks he looks marvelous and thinks everyone will cheer him while everyone laughs at (not with him). Only difference is Mr Bean always gives you great laughs and you leave feeling great. Seeing or God forbid having to watch or listen to Smarmy Rob Thomas leaves you feeling like WTF has IBM devolved into.

I was in a meeting he made an appearance at not too long ago. I found him to be smug and his subject matter totally useless. When he left the room and we were all asked our thoughts, nobody said a word until one brave soul spoke up and said “I think honestly that was the worst advice anyone could have given us and it makes no sense.” Then the floodgates opened. RT is pathetic. He’s completely ruined global sales.
I liked him better when he sang for Matchbox Twenty. He comes off like such a smug, arrogant little tu-d.
I couldn’t stand listening to him when I was at Ibm. He came off as a wannabe dictator. Talking down to people. Throwing his weight around. So condescending. And so d-mb too.
