I pretty much stopped caring about this company and devoted myself to looking for a new job.
I'm leaving soon, but I'll always wonder if this leadership actually wanted to fix and save this company at all. Sometimes it seems to me that they are not particularly interested in getting this place in order.

Even if the CEO stays, there are people making a lot of bad decisions due to the fact that they have never worked in a store, are new in their roles, or come from another company and only look at what is good on paper. Even then, they have made a lot of mistakes. And they should be held accountable for poor sales in this case. They also really need to start consulting Store Leadership or Regional Leaders (especially the ones who have been around for a while) need to use their influence to help in decision making when it comes to things that affect the stores. It’s crazy how much double work we’ve had to do this year because of a lack of thought process by Central. It’s ridiculous! We need leadership that understands and gets what happens on a day to day at the store level, period.
the ceo isnt going anywhere hes making millions of the backs of this disastors called macys
Yes this company needed new leadership a long time ago. Macys in general along with MTech for sure needs a purge and new motivated leadership to turn the ship around. Don’t be fooled by the recent reports on how well the company is doing and the stock.
They are interested in protecting profit to look good for their shareholders. They don’t care. Some out there might want to actually fix things but get shut down for merely speaking up. Zero transparency and no accountability for poor financial and strategic decisions. We need new Leadership. It’s time!
