Has anybody been able to land a new job? I'd be happy with the second round of interviews at this point.

Interviewed and got a job offer while still working at JPMC. I was going to resign, but the stars aligned and I got my RIF notice before I could do that. I accepted the new job on the very same day I got RIFed. Worked the new job during my notice period and received severance pay. Also got to keep my 401K matches despite being there for a little more than 2 years.
Hey recruiter can you contact me and pick me then?
If you say that you want to work 5 days a week in office and you use JPMC as an example that will give you better chances.
As someone involved in recruiting, we posted a few roles, entry-mid level, ranging from accounting to project management and to tech, each day we get about 1-2k applicants at MINIMUM, some days MORE. There are so much saturation in every field currently. An explanation going around is that there are just so many young folks going into the job market, compounded with the over hiring that happened in 2019-2021, also AI apps that auto applies hundreds-thousands of jobs, and in addition people that have been laid off. It makes sifting through potentially tens of thousands of resumes impossible, you can curate the best resume in the world and it will be like a drop of water in the ocean...I would even say MAJORITY of hirings right now are pretty much a random pick of a few dozen resumes at best from tens of thousands and those few dozens are usually filtered based on experience, qualifications, certs, etc...and generally even with those filters there are still thousands so its pretty much random pickings.
Walmart fired an executive for taking $30,000 in daily kickbacks from an Indian staffing agency — essentially an alleged scheme shipping U.S. jobs to India.
No no luck at all and I am a manager with lots of experience
