Coming from Ansys, Ansys had very few layoffs over the years. Acquisition by synopsys is the worst thing.

I felt the legacy Ansys management had good stewardship and we had little to no layoffs even in the depths of 2008 recession. It’s concerning that barely 2 months into the acquisition we have layoffs. I feel that it may very well be the first among a couple of rounds heading into 2026 and beyond. Frustrations all around
