Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Are you ready for the CPM in November 2025?

A new list is being prepared. This will be finalized by the end of Sep 2025 when the affected employees will be notified. The affected employees will leave Intel sometime in November.

Not sure which BUs besides Intel Labs will be affected by this.

Many managers doing nothing of value other than attending meetings, asking some questions in meeting to look like they’re paying attention, putting roadblocks, asking status of this or that and summarizing in a report for their higher-up. No mentoring, prioritizing or helping their reports in any way.

Yes! Get rid of more of the fat. Management, remove or demote Sr. PEs, PEs, Fellows, people with 20+ years at Intel as they have not done anything but watched the demise and collect paychecks and certainly not on par with newer tech and unnecessarily expensive. Thats another 10K easy

As a taxpayer owner of Intel, I’m glad to see more house cleaning. Still way too many milking the cow. Enough already.
