What is the severance policy and payout for employees with less than 5 years of service?

@t7 In general, yes, unvested is lost. However, likely some case-by-case deals are agreed, depending on individual circumstance. I have seen some lose 100 per cent and some receive some kind of 'buyout'.
Is it true you lose unvested stock in the layoff?
I would love to know this as well - from people who had to train the cheap labor and those who didn't - I heard the former got a little larger due to it su-king to train a bunch of foreigners to take even more jobs out of our communities. And what about healthcare, 401k, etc? I did hear a 2 weeks per year of service rule in past layoffs so not sure if that still applies.
