Thread regarding Ford layoffs

Ford

Still supporting many incompetant LL5,LL6, supervision. Why?

LL4- sure want to rid many GSR but living incompetent, arrogant, self serving employment in their own bubble.

@cw I made a significant positive impact at ford. Was even noted by the company in the highest degree. My career didn't progress (working on mundane tasks) and I ended up getting laid off.

There are so many issues at this place. I would estimate that at least half of the employees, GSR's and even some supervisors and managers, are in the wrong position or not being used properly. This includes myself. There is so much wasted talent its actually sad. I talk to several people that have a passion for something they are not doing. Or really want to be busy, honing their skills, but sit doing sparse and mundane tasks that seem meaningless and basically su-k the life out of you.

I've had a few bosses in the past that understood what I need to do to stay engaged. It was great and I enjoyed my job and excelled at it. Now, seems everyone had been neutered. Theres also no real new work other than trying to deal with the flood of recalls. No new models from DBN, nothing new on the horizon (other than the EV truck that will never be 30k or under) and no new excitement on anything for the future. They've pushed and cancelled themselves into a corner and will blame everyone but themselves. I want to see the company succeed but with our current management, its all but flatlined. Our current models are boring and overpriced. They spend too much time in the shop. Upper management doesnt seem to care about changing the lineup. We need car people, true wrenching car people, to start making decisions. Not iphone paste eaters or puppets for the owners of the company. I know JF is a car guy but hes just a cog.

LL4s - is the root of all evil and failures at Ford for at least the last 3 years. Once its not recognized by everyone with the company keeping the strategy - hire, lay off , hire - it is going to downhill - to a dark tight hole to bankrupcy.
