I think I can solve this puzzle, Pat.
People walk out with carts of unpaid merchandise every day. It’s not JUST internal theft. Empty packages of merchandise are left all over the store. EVERYDAY!!!!!
There’s a lot of internal theft.
Since self check out has taken over. I know people who would never have in the past thought once about taking anything. Now I have heard multiple people say "yeah, I don't Scan everything. If they want me to work for them I'm getting something out of it." I'm sure inflation is just adding to it as well.
Omg people steal every single day from Walmart and other retailers. Smh
