@e8

They are a little pricey for common people like us, I could not find one for less than 460K, but it should not be a problem for VPs.

I know someone that works at Lamborghini dealer. He states that most of the people that come into buy them are stretched so thin that they really cannot afford to drive them. The conversation always turns to: How much can the customer afford for a monthly payment. You have some people on a 15 year lease!!!!

@dw Does this have something to with the Electric Hummer in the parking lot at 228?

@dw
I can believe that. First class flights to Europe to ski in the Alps, instead of a drive up to Vermont or NH. Why go to Cape Cod for a week when you can spend two weeks renting a place on Nantucket or MV.

Of course, I win that $1.7 Billion Powerball I will be right with them.

@a2 My brother and his wife run a small financial advisory and management firm here in Massachusetts. He said it is shocking to see how many $1million plus salary earners have less saved (usually percentage wise but sometimes actual amounts) than someone making around $100k.
Many of them spend it on an additional home, cars kept at those homes, paying tuition and then taking on mortgages for their children and other things they should not have to worry about. (Okay, tuition is important but not mandatory)

So when you see that exec pulling up in a $100,000 + Land Rover, consider he or she maybe spending it almost as fast as earning it. If they get the axe tomorrow where will they be?

He also says lottery tickets are a poor way to spend money. To that I say - if I know if I spend a few bucks a week the odd of winning are incredibly small. But if I don’t play, they are zero

@ac I mean realistically, if you have say 20m+ in your checking (bad idea but just go with me) from a lotto winning, your fear of being fired/let go is basically zero. You could tell VP's to go F themselves, just let me do my job. You could realistically say and do whatever tf you want but, worse that can happen is you get fired lol.

I actually wonder how many people who work for Dell are wealthy enough to straight up NOT have a job. There's got to be quite a few who just work for something to pass the time but, utlimately don't NEED a job or income.

Just imagine the push back one could give to the managers and vps on some of this stupid s**t, leads/plays, salesworks, chat, trainings, power week. Maybe comp my team to quit without notice.

lol well goodluck!!!

Honestly if I won it, I'd keep my job just for something to do but, wouldn't gaf about the quality becuase, I'd have a few hundred million sitting in my bank account.

Which if you think about it, that's how most execs probably think too. JC pulls in almost 1.1m/year and that's not including bonus's or his the 20m in stocks options he has at Dell... Why should he care? He's set for life if he quit tomorrow and cashed out his stocks.
