Thread regarding Phillips 66 layoffs

It’s Too Bad

Phillips 66 offers good pay and good benefits. And before the Go Go regime took over it was a relatively satisfying place to work.
Now with the failure of BT. WEP, and never ending layoffs it’s sad place to work.
Morale is at rock bottom. Employee engagement is practically nonexistent. Most employees that I know of are just going through the motions of doing their jobs until they find other employment.
I spend time almost every day talking to recruiters and spiffing up my LinkedIn profile on the company dime.

@16b exactly!

We love to talk change and play lip service that we are continuously improving but K and the ELT are the ones least likely to change. At some point when Elliott gets a few more board seats, something will change.

Perhaps not really understanding how much earnings is generating will give the board, and future board some pause. One would think that investors would press on this harder given how much we have emphasized it and how our results don’t reflect this claimed capability.

@10y Clueless and completely disconnected. Just sit down, shut up and fall in line with the initiatives we tell you… oh and be grateful you work here and haven’t been laid off… yet

@16b Please don't judge all of the Finance team based on him. We have a pretty darn good Finance team!

Nobody has worse leadership than finance. They have a leader that talks about P66 values but doesn't live them. No credibility in P66 leadership as long as they let the head of finance represent who they are as a leadership team.

Ha! I think everyone sees how bad L&D is performing, except L&D. And of course Tractor Boy. Talk to the employees up there and they’ll tell you…off the record, how bad the leadership is.

I’m glad I’m not the only one that’s noticed that L & D “leadership” is performing poorly.

@10y starting with L&D. Leaders up there seem to get more and more ignorant. The three di$@sters brought in from WM seem to have made the place worse. How is that org still so big? The rest of us are working with a fraction of what they have and yet L&D turns out nothing. Typical of HR.

Not the same company anymore. The leadership in Houston are about as ignorant as they come!

P66 doesn’t offer competitive pay any longer. Don’t listen to the HR trolls on here.

What stories. I was a casualty of WEP. It was either lower SGL and pay or severance.

The stories I've heard since the fallout of WEP make me laugh.
