Any rumors about Division or District layoffs circulating? Catching word that they put a temporary hold on ASL transfers.

@3bj Sales Managers, Category Managers, and Category Analysts so far. We were told 400 layoffs are coming across other division and GO offices.
@34m Roundys was a little different in their Division org structure, I’m sure they are now similar to other divisions. What positions were eliminated? Also, I’m surprised Harris Teeter wasn’t affected. Currently, they operate slightly outside the whole company structure and do alot of things themselves and of separate from GO or whatever corporate is called now.
They just laid off more today at the Roundy’s division. So yes, they’re coming for the division offices.
They put a freeze on interviews for open Store Leader positions too, which is never a good sign.
Feel a repeat of October 2019 coming...
Probably. I can't think of a time where division level was except from restructuring efforts. Afterall, do we really need 20+ division presidents, VPs etc etc etc? So much bloat modern companies don't have.
Consolidate the banners and get rid of divisions...
