Thread regarding Walgreens layoffs

Good riddance. Now what?

Can’t say I’m sad to see some of the leadership finally gone. They steered Walgreens into the ground. But with the shift to private ownership, I’m more worried than relieved. Private equity doesn’t usually mean stability, and I can’t shake the feeling that what’s ahead may be even rougher than what we just went through.

Hold your breath, the big bang is behind the corner. JL favorite cuts are around the holidays.

I watched the parade of suits go from 108 to 200 today. It was a sight to behold.

One of the suits was rocking an amazing pair of Louboutins. There was some NYC money in Deerfield today.

Just look at what they did to Staples. They closed stores. Cut staff. Increased work load. Add more services.
