With some added instructions and changes to the org structure. I still feel like cr-p, though. I’m glad I’ll keep getting a paycheck, but I feel numb about hanging on to a job I don’t even like. What really hits me is how awful this is for those who lost their jobs. Let’s support each other, we’re all stuck in this nasty situation together.

I’m staying in my current role with some updates to the structure and a new leader. I was talent-matched into this position back in 2023, and to be honest, it hasn’t really been a role I enjoy. For now, though, I’m sticking with it since the job market is tough as I’ve been looking for about 18 months. I’m hoping the changes and new leadership will make things better, but with some positions being eliminated, I also expect more work may fall on us. For now, I’m just hanging in there and seeing how it goes cause… bills.
