I don't think they necessarily want us to fail so much as they lack enough gray matter between their ears to realize that their choices are why we are failing. They'll inevitably blame those of us at the bottom when they caused the excr-ment to hit the oscillating air current distribution device.
Yeah, I think a more accurate description is - they will do what they believe is best for them and investors, and really don’t care how it affects any of their employees.
Now, I don’t think they know what they are doing any longer, which is the main problem. Because I don’t think any business cares about their people more than they care about the money.

I think they want you to be successful in their new model. How realistic that will be is another matter. Of course, how many people they layoff is another matter.
