How many people sitting on the firm's Board of Directors are over age 75 ? Is there an age limit ? Term limit ? Many firms hire third parties to evaluate board members for fit and performance. Has this been done ? When ? Is the board high functioning or is there any cognitive impairments ? People will say who cares but the success or failures of great American companies often begin and end with board competence and leadership.

The number of retirees/ex employees/current employees out of touch with the positives and negatives going on with the company and then posting about it here is astonishing
Imagine taking a shot at the astronaut on our board, who also sits on the Nvidia board which is the largest public company in America. Talk about out of touch #potcallingkettle
@OP The average board in the US has 10 members, avg age 63, serves for 9 yrs. The company needs a much younger and engaged board with skills other than cops, army generals, astronauts, and professors. Need a board with: cybersecurity experience, marketing, high tech IT, customer experience, operations, HR, record keeping expertise, retiree and client representation. A great board can make a great company. A bad board can harm a company. A company losing $500M in 5 years needs a total revamp. 100% turnover. Full stop.
