Thread regarding BP PLC layoffs

Is refining strategic for BP?

Whiting in the news again last week. This refinery must make Bri’ish Petroleum a lot of money for them to put up with this.

lol if a production platform can’t operate at those depths… why will at those depths. Try and find two brain cells to rub together

@e1 funny thing is, @cy is just a big of id--t because the Deepwater Horizon was NOT a drill ship! It was a semi-submersible drilling rig, or “MODU” as BSEE refers to them “Mobile Offshore Drilling Unit”…

And to even prove him wrong again, all of our production platforms in GoA operate at that depth. Fun fact, the DWH drilled the first injector wells and did the original 16 well batch set for Atlantis…

@cy - You just proved the old saying of “never argue with an id--t, because all they do is bring you down to their level and beat you with experience”…. lol

@cy found the boomer who is confidentially wide of the mark about terminology.

One oil platform almost brought down the entire company in 2010, yet they continue to operate in the Gulf.

What kind of post is this? lol
