Good luck to everyone the next couple of days. Even if it turns out we didn’t matter to the person who kept telling us that the last 6 years, you do matter to your colleagues and your contributions are appreciated.

@b6 hahaha I’m too bitter at this point to quit. They can pay me to leave or figure out a way to fire me.
@c0 THANK YOU for saying this!!! Ever since RTO was announced, I said “oh, they are wanting people to quit.” Then when ER was announced, I KNEW I was right!!! It was about greed, pure and simple.
@b6 exactly what RTO was. It was never about 'collaboration' or being more productive. EDJ was just following the lead of every other corporation who needed bodies in office for real estate reasons. During covid and up until 2022 all the big companies and us bragged about how happy workers were with WAH. How profits were great, productivity was up, all was good! Then, mid 2023 all them flipped the script and said "back in the office, now!"....unless you are a mico manager with no actual real work contributions, you hate the office. It su-ks and everyone knows it. Maybe 1-2 days a month in office would fine, but forcing 3 days then babysitting the badge swiping is just getting childish at this point. They wanted us to quit with RTO, plain and simple.
Personally I think they wanted people to fear for their jobs and leave on their own. If you want layoffs then just get the cr-p down and over with like a normal company does it. There is no need to have this loom over people’s heads unless you wanted the fear to kick in and force people to leave
@a5 I agree but think it’s a big deal either way because if it’s a nothing burger, we’ve all been put through the wringer for seemingly nothing.
@a2 right? That means it's probably either no big deal and this is a big nothing burger. Or, this will be a giant bo-b going off that will turn this company on its head by wednesday morning.
I'm shocked nothing leaked. The GPs must've been sworn to blood secrecy
