Lightpath management aka Crown Castle 2.0 has begun its quirky management ways that failed them at Crown Castle by implementing the same failed processes at Lightpath. My understanding of the rumor is that all technicians will be pooled together as a general resource. Service technicians, Inside Plant technicians, and Installation technicians...one big group now NOT specializing in anything. Let's pay an advanced or lead tech to go out and troubleshoot an NID while a service technician tries to upgrade the software on a Ciena chassis. The name Lightpath used to mean something in the networking and data services community....not anymore. I just heard that they laid off a few of the most talented resources from Advanced Services. Seriously ....how d-mb can someone be? That next big outage will look a lot differently and take a lot longer to resolve. Way to go dummies! OMG...even better..OTDRs are regionalized ...One or 2 per region. Management doesn't realize that it is an essential tool in being a service provider who provides their service via fiber. Read that again and let it sink in. It's the equivalent of having a fiber or cable department sharing one bucket truck. Someone needs to step up and change the trajectory of this failed management style. If you owned a Porsche, would you let the lot attendant do your 30k mile service? Hey former Crown Castle employees...if it failed over there WHY would you think it will work at Lightpath?

Ok so no info. Just some rambling about what happened since 2016. No shiz. What happened at Lightpath. Does anyone know ? Did the union try to fight for their jobs? Oh yes that’s right, you get what you don’t pay for .
But wait. They’re going to do a re-org! Yeah, that’s the ticket.
There are Facts then Rumors, Facts are simple over 3,000 employees were laid off since Altice took over. Buildings are be dumped, 11 Contractor companies moved in, Customers are fleeing by the day, Their were over 600 techs in Nassau county, Down to about 30, No management left. Trucks were sold off!These are facts! Next is a culture of fear that your not safe here anymore and your not! Stock is at less then 4$ per share! Investors want answers and unfortunately you are not the answer!

1st, I'll be sure to "Marl" my calender, it will take some doung but it's been done before, so I can't see it being an issue.

Can you offer any proof of your statements? For years people have been posting on here with their "the sky is falling doom and gloom "facts" yet not one has ever actually panned out. Please let us know. I do not plan on running off hysterical and quitting my job based on your flimsy post.

Stocks record at a record low and company is now worth 75 percent less than what they bought it for, all this while investing into it its dying business.
Fiber expansion when offices are going away is a deadly recipe in my opinion.
