1 Why Google, Meta, square , toast and Stripe are hiring in SF bayarea and paying high, why they dont have offices in Berkeley heights, Kansas , Florida, Omaha???
- Why clover is growing 28-30% compared to FIG or MS enterprises. Why clover brand is popular ???
- Why US employees paid higher compared to India or other countries….?
clover engineer here, i wish i was making this much 😂 we are NOT making that much. If i can add, it’s actually harder for us to get any sort of high salary or pay bump because we need to go through both clover and fiserv HR and budget red tape nonsense.

No one at Clover makes that kind of money anymore. All the competent engineers left for $500k+ at Mag7.
It costs a great deal to keep painting the clover pig to fool the gullible clients who make the mistake of using it
The cost of living is significant in Sunnyvale. That salary translates to peanuts in other areas lol

I would be focused on what you were making and work on improving yourself, not other colleague's pay. You will lose yourself trying to figure it out. Too much energy spent with no realisable return posible.
