What dept were impacted? Any more expected in the coming months? Also, rumors are that, there will be more layoffs towards the end of the year.

Unfortunately, he's one of several, including the tyrants atop GT and GO. The culture of the place is truly awful. Rule by threat and fear. They will tell you that TU needed a shake up and that performance was left wanting. That is true. But if they think the 80s culture they're instilling will be effective, they are so very wrong.
So ultimately, there is one person - and only one person - to blame: Cartwrong. He hired all of them, and tolerated that completed loser T Mart for year. Buck stops with him.
