Mgmt is so tone deaf that's why they're TINOs.
They have all hands meetings to talk about how difficult it was to lay people off, held back crocodile tears for effect, talk about trust as if they really practice it, and then force celebration events on their subordinates that are in mourning from the TINOs sacking their colleagues.
Why bother to show up and hang out with the TINOs? Maybe discuss how much the parties cost and if it would have saved one person that got sacked?
