Dell Sales Chat

I keep reading about KPIs. Who exactly has been told by their manager?

We've been told to use the AI chat and it's being monitored, but no target.

No one I know has been given a KPI or weekly target.

How do we know it's 25 per week?

I've only read it this forum, is it fake news?

Data entry technicians/sales folks: Lots of data is required to create the model (machine learning), which generative AI will use to replace you. The better you do, the worse off you are. Ponderous, diabolical.

They are checking. They can also pull reports to see exactly what you are entering into it, and your name is assigned to it. So careful what you ask

The hilarious thing is, they are quietly telling employee they’re required to use it a certain amount and then turning around and showing high engagement and utilization numbers to the top. Look how successful it is! Fu--ing crooks.

Compulsory talking to a machine belies management’s professed value in human interaction, a pillar of the RTO policy. “For all the technology in the world, nothing is faster than the speed of human interaction" rings hollow when you are talking/feeding data to a BOT. It’s a policy intended to drive data entry, not collaboration.

Another quote from a great American fits the bill: “There’s a su---r born every minute.”

I can speak for Sales: no email communication, but the info has been shared in SalesOps weekly calls/townhalls (where we all are invited to participate).
Also, information has been communicated to managers, who are requested to cascade that to ICs.

Sales chat is absolute garbage - they spent millions on a tool that isn’t delivering and now pushing people to use it with hopes of turning it around. Fools

This is true, 5 chat questions a day, salesworks daily, 360 daily, stale pipe daily, smart cards daily, and st-----g Max's ego hourly.

There are no kpi targets. They just use KPIs when trying to decide who to layoff. If you're in the bottom 50% there's a target on your back.

I thought I heard it mentioned in Scannel’s all hands this week. 25 a week.
