I really wanted to be laid off.
Cost cutting everywhere. Since most functions are already contracted to 3rd parties, head-counts are going to be reduced. With automation and AI less hands needed
They've been laying them off for well over a year, I know, because I worked there, and some good colleagues got let go last year and 2 weeks ago.
It's also all over various news sources.
