Many software grunts are being replaced by AI or offshore sweatshops.
Margins are decreasing along with revenue. With the deficit spending on AI, the only way to maintain profitability is through reductions in force. RTO is a convenient excuse but a transparent dodge.
MS is not alone on this cliff. Despite the bullish rally, the disintegration of traditional business in the United States and the impending burst of the AI bubble becomes clearer by the day.
Whether by the carrot or stick, expect reductions in the workforce along with disingenuous explanations and excuses.
