Does anyone know which if any store closures will happen in 2026 in Northern Illinois? I work at a store in this area and anytime I ask my manager I hear crickets. I would like to know so I can begin scouting for other jobs come closing time if necessary.

@cft Incorrect. Our Macy's store at the St. Clair Square will not shutter. I've seen you spread this same type of particular misinformation before. This information is proprietary to us, Macy's HQ, and business executives. This should not be spread, and this sort of misinformation is misleading to our valued customers.

Not sure which one- but both N il store should be fine for 2026.
