Trump has banned Indians from H1-B visas, say goodbye to TCS cheap slave labor

After years of abuse and cheating of the USA visa system, Trump has caught up with the outsourcing companies and is banning any further visas for Indians. Gone is the ability for TCS to import cheap Indian slave workers to replace the hard-working Americans. Gone is the ability to pay $55K to a H1-B senior developer while the equivalent American worker wage is $150K. Gone is the ability to fool the USA visa system into displacing American workers with this cheap low level imports.
Is the end of TCS around the corner?

Ok 55K was paid last in 2013.

Average TCS Salary starts at 90K.

Nope. This will not change much until few more modifications made. This must be implemented in 2003 when first congressional report out confirming wage game. It’s way too late but still good move.

I have heard last 1 year or so layoffs are due to this rule only. Fake executives already moving jobs offshore. What they are doing, hire one 175k H1b in USA instead of 5 H1b on $65k which is still saving of 325k-175k. Now that is used to hire 10 person team in India/ China/ Philippines/ Mexico.

This is all by design. Loop holes are everywhere.

How to fix H1b or any temp work visa issue :

  1. No temp visa like H1b issued to anyone without passing 3 stage exam like USMLE for medical field. Currently no one knows these candidates are qualified or not. Many submit fake papers altogether. So entrance exam is mandatory now. Many students or overseas guys who apply are not qualified at all.

  2. Add clause that no temp visa issued until qualified US citizen available including 2 years mandatory training if needed. Most TCS or any consulting firms give 1 to 2 years training to college freshers before outing on US project. Currently if u pay 60k, you by pass this requirement. This must be mandatory irrespective of wage.

  3. No company will allowed to participate in H1b if they have offshore operation directly or using vendors.

  4. Any company have offshore to onshore ration 1 to 10 in IT department will be charged 20 pct fees of total sale revenue.

  5. Time long gone for wage based system. Folks submit very high qualified papers but just warming chairs at work. Every temp work visa holder’s work must be audited every 6 months before renewal. We have many Laid off US citizens who will do that with $250/Audit with couple of every day paid by sponsoring company.

We the people to stay strong and force both politicians and corporations to course correct.

Spread the words. Write to your house representatives and senators. Write to White House and DHS. ABOVE ALL MUST BE IMPLEMENTED. Just increasing wage will solve only 40% issue so no need to leave big 60% loop hole.

By the way know many TCS folks and many are very good people. H1bs are facing same problems like US citizens. This is designed by corporate cheats and corrupt politicians.
