Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Anyone else just waiting for that sweet severance package so they can ghost this hellhole?

Just got mine today. This company can su-k my ba--s. Never thought I'd actively route for the last American semiconductor company to fail, but here we are.

These are all stupid comments. There aren't severance packages. You get 1 of 2 options Intel picks from. 60-day working notice or 4-week working notice with 9-week severance payment.

Might want to lookup how all that works with lots of debt on the books and revenue numbers like we have.

It feels like at some point there aren't any packages left to give... so you might be in for a shock.

They are 18 billion in the red. Those payouts were a one off. It's performance terminations from here on out.

Remaining reductions to be done as “performance management” so they don’t have to give severance. They will find every little thing they can to ding you so that there is a paper trail so you are discouraged from suing for “constructive dismissal”.

At some point there will be no money left for severance packages.
