Yup, timing makes sense with mid years and RTO.
Thought they got rid of most of those people when the laid 3-400 off in May. Saw some high performers go then. It was a shame they couldn't be reassigned.

I was told by three separate & reliable sources there is gonna be shuffling of some teams this week (I haven't seen anything yet) and the layoffs are gonna start by the end of August

@ar because Ford is taking taxpayer money from Detroit Public Schools to fund the train station, and is supposed to have 5,000 W2 workers there, and they don’t.
@b7 If true, why should majority for the decisions of a few that possibly make more in compensation added together? Most of the cr--s got the heads up and laterally moved internally already. How much does MJ get paid? DF?

Why do you think Ford wants to keep it quiet? Some investors think Ford is bloated, and would applaud layoffs.
They have already started to quietly separate people. HR had nearly back to back 30min meetings. Plus all the recent people the last couple few weeks that you saw retirement announcements, those were really congratulations you are leaving. They are trying to keep it as quiet as possible.
