I've been at vmware for over 7 years. i am a female. While I would like to convince myself that a lot of gender equality efforts have been happening. This company still being governed as it is the 1900 in the states.

I am in Seattle. We have small office now and it is shrinking. I am well aware of many females being run by all-boys club. Whether it is Tanzu or SASE or CMPBU or EUC.

This company has been toxic and the male-controlled management chain has been sickening. Yet, no resolution and it only gets worse until a big lawsuit takes place with names of these s-xist individuals and not just the corporate. I compiled a list of all-male management chain over 3. The whole list, names and addresses across vmware. It is big. really big list.

Posts like this one summons the HR trolls. They then make comments that causes the entire post to be deleted. This happens when the company is fearful about others in the same situation being validated. Other women that are contemplating suing this abusive company. You should sue. Get an attorney and sue.

Post this on Blind, Glassdoor or anywhere else to raise awareness.

More males than females decide to go into sales. More males than females decide to get engineering degrees. Hence most tech companies will have more males than females. There is no discrimination here.

You sound like the toxic one. The answer to your problem is to stop being a victim. Make changes in your own mind and work performance. If you out work and out perform the 'male-controlled management chain' and became the top performer you would have access to all the opportunities in the company you could want. You will have the leverage you need to either get the job/salary you want or just leave for another company that will give it to you. Nope, instead, you would rather blame the s-xism boogeyman. I'm tired of all these 'feminists' wanting jobs because they are females. The irony is impeccable.
