Thread regarding Dell Inc. layoffs

Loving the stock rise

Although I'm selling - chunks at a time . Will exit entirely when it reaches early $140's.
Dell is very well run - financially speaking - (trust in Michael) - but there's not much more short term upside to this stock at these P/E ratios.

The stock will continue to rise cause of the fiscal stimulus; regardless of dell's performance.

Everybody should be doing their part to help the stock rise to make Michael the world's richest man! In the immortal words up Bill Belichick, "DO YOUR JOB"

@ac

He will keep letting people go. Unfortunately, there is no public facing plan and neither do I expect there to be one. He will just keep taking things away and expect those that are left to figure it out.

@ac once even the backbone is gone, JC will lay off MD.

MD isn't a tech visionary, but the man does know how to make money. He'll step on everybody to make it too. I do wonder what his plan is when he continues to lose market share to HP, Lenovo, and Pure but can't lower OPEX because he's down to 90K people.

Guys realistically stock is going up which is good and positive....but you can fire only so many people to keep this "momentum". And then what? What will JC do then when you're running on a skeleton crew and can't fire anyone else to save money?

Interesting times ahead!
