@a8 See the article on the company homepage where the engineer talks about having a dog beach, great cuisine and a wonderful thrift shops in the area.
@a9 agree. I find it very odd that they were even allowed to compare this to the model T, when it’s just another idea. Don’t get me wrong, it sounds like a solid idea and I have nothing to gain if they sc--w it up - I want it to work. It just seemed like when using the Model T name there should be some degree of certainty or even a physical product to look at, hope for, and work towards. This just sounded like a multi-billion dollar idea announced at a political rally.
@a9 It was weird hearing that, don't they have confidence in what they are doing? It's like saying we are going to spending billions and may have to write it off, again.

I will never forget where I was when this was announced, truly groundbreaking. (on the toilet) Didn't a startup just announce something like this not too long ago? Only I think it sounded a lot cooler, and cheaper.
