Benefits have been cut, contractors laid off, hiring freeze in place. Salaries have been frozen for a while now.

I think compared to everyone else out there zoom is pretty good. They right size my stock 4x so I didn’t lose money on my rsu. I will miss the free lunch money, internet reimbursement and clothes though. Will have to wait and see how the next two years go. I came from Cisco and regretted it at first. Didn’t make the money I thought I would but now it has been great. Much better balance and way more flexibilities.
Yes the ride is over. A number of us joined from other places like cisco that seemed to be heading towards a massive disruption from zoom. Turns out they weathered the storm and zoom is the one with the upside down stock and incentives to keep anyone around through this chaos and lack of leadership. From leading in meetings to copying in chat/calling/cc- it’s all vapor ware now and the street sees it
Disagree with the above. Zoom was indeed something special and an amazing place to work. For 2 years, it was incredible. But now we have to become a real grown-up company, and frankly I don't think the C-Suite are capable of leading this. When legal runs the company, people and product get tossed out...
Right after zoom went public and after hearing in the news about surveys that said the CEO was the best. It turns out it was smoke and mirrors.
It's bad everywhere. A lot of people joined Zoom thinking that the company had the best work environment and CEO. They realized that it wasn't true and their stock has dropped tremendously.
