Most people get jobs as cogs and then get upset when they do more than cogs but aren't immediately rewarded. For most of corporate just being "good enough" AND consistent is worth more than being a "super hero". Employees and employers see the value proposition very differently. Sadly this is not purely a Truist problem, but Truist certainly is below average in communicating the expectations around this and training managers for it.
The company continues to layoff ‘discounted employees’ and it sold off its best asset, McGriff? Seems like there is just d-mb management?
Effort is not, nor has it ever been important. Results are all that matter. Service only matters in that you should have used that time to up skill so they're getting a discount on your value.
