Thread regarding Sabre Holdings layoffs

what will be the recovery plan

I'm very curious what the recovery plan will be, what Kurt will announce on Thursday, for sure they have to start new cost saving initiative:

  • no merits this year
  • layoffs
  • maybe the board will resign

We see that investors are getting nervous ...

Leaders aren't suffering the stock crash much. They sell their stock grants as soon as they can. They lost faith in Sabre stock prices returning to precovid numbers.

Executive Ldrship has been padding their pockets for years with unearned bonuses and overpaid salaries. They have sc--wed themselves though because stock options are going to be worthless. Hard to put on a resume “What did you do on your last job. Ran it into the Ground”!!

Executive leadership should take the advice given to so many affected by layoffs that poured their heart, soul, and entire professional “careers” into Sabre before being laid off 5 years or less before retirement:

Sharpen your resume.

It is tough out there - especially when you have presided over and continue to perpetuate the state of a company that once was the envy of the travel technology world. You have destroyed what was once great.

Fractured spinal chord cannot fixed only with pain killers. It needs a major surgery to fix it. Sabre tried everything but to acknowledge and fix the root cause. Some personal agendas and GCC in fighting lead a great organization towards bankruptcy. Can't expect anything better with the executive leadership still yielding to such agendas.

Stop false hopes like the Mosaic Suite & Sabre2 abomination :)

@OP what’s there to save? Cost cuts are the reason why so many projects are delayed. The obvious solution was to revise guidance last quarter when it was clear that things on the ground were vastly different, but I guess sales had to milk the SIP by promising random bookings.
